⚡ Built by a Gas Safe & NICEIC approved engineer

Painter & decorator software —
every room, every coat,
invoiced room-by-room.

Forward the agent’s void-redec brief, the AI inbox lifts address and access notes. Take before/after photos as you go. Invoice line-by-line per room. Sign off with the WCC.

Painter and decorator software UK that captures the enquiry, files your before/after photos as a growing portfolio, and lets you invoice room by room. No more colour specs lost in WhatsApp, no more arguments about “you only painted two coats not three.”

If you quote in Word and chase colours in WhatsApp, this is your upgrade.

AI parses agent & homeowner emails
Before/after photos per room
Invoice per room, per coat
WCC at handover, signed on screen
Atomic invoice numbers

From void brief to signed-off redec — three steps.

No more “what colour did they ask for?” on the day.

The brief lands itself

Forward the letting-agent void-redec email, the homeowner’s “can you do the lounge” message, or the property manager’s job sheet to [email protected]. Claude AI pulls out the property address, access notes, urgency and dates. Colour spec stays in the job notes for you to read.

Paint, photograph as you go

Before, during prep, after the final coat — photograph each room as you finish. Photos save to Firebase Storage attached to the job, offline first. Doubles as your portfolio when you go to the next customer. Past jobs at the same property are one tap away in Clients & Properties.

Invoice per room, sign off

Build the invoice line by line — “Lounge, 2 coats”, “Hallway, prep and 3 coats”, whatever the quote said. VAT optional. Atomic per-user invoice numbering. Then a WCC at handover — editable title, photo evidence, on-screen signature, PDF.

The bits a decorator actually uses. Nothing they don’t.

Painter and decorator software UK that captures the enquiry, files your photos, and lets you invoice per room and per coat.

AI inbox

Agent & homeowner email parsing

Forward any decorating enquiry — agent void redec, homeowner full-house spec, single-room job — to [email protected]. Claude extracts the property, access notes, urgency, dates into your pending bookings queue.

Public booking link

Your unique URL. Customers fill in a form — rooms, urgency, contact — the request lands in your pending bookings. Stick the link in your email signature, on Google Business Profile, on the van.

Instant SMS booking alert

The moment a booking lands, an SMS pings your phone via VoodooSMS (no setup needed on your side). You see the lead and can react before the next decorator does.

Before/after photos per room

Take photos as you go — before, during the prep, after each coat. Photos save to Firebase Storage attached to the job. Available offline, syncs when you’re back on signal. Builds your portfolio job by job.

Itemised invoices per room

Line per room, per surface, per coat — “Lounge ceiling, 2 coats”, “Hallway, prep and 3 coats”. VAT optional. Atomic per-user invoice numbers via Durable Object — no duplicates. PDF download, email, or WhatsApp.

WCC at handover

Work Completion Certificate — A4 landscape, editable title (“Full Redecoration Sign-off”, “Void Redec Handover”), photo evidence, on-screen signature, PDF. Generic and unregulated — fits decorating sign-off cleanly.

Clients & Properties module

Customer and address grouping. Past decorating jobs at the same property one tap away. Useful when an agent rings about “the void you did last August” and you need to remind yourself what colour you used.

Quick AI replies

Claude Haiku generates short “can do, can’t do, asking for X” replies. Edit the draft, tap send. Saves you typing the same response to fifteen quote enquiries on a Sunday.

Offline PWA

Installs to your home screen. Service worker keeps the job available even on a property with no signal. Photos and notes sync when you’re back on 4G.

Address autocomplete

OS Places postcode lookup. Type the postcode, pick the address — no more typos on the invoice or the WCC at the property where you spent three weeks.

Calendar view

Jobs laid out by day. Useful when you’re juggling a full-house redec across the week and need to slot in a touch-up between jobs.

Settings & branding

Upload your business logo (Firebase Storage), set up your email signature, three generic accreditation slots (you type the body name and number), bank details. Branded invoices and WCC without the faff.

Honest beta — no fake reviews here

Quick Lead is in active beta, built and used daily by the founder. We’d rather show you the app than invent quotes.

Beta
“We’re a small UK build. Every feature on this page is shipped today — the AI inbox, photo evidence per room, itemised invoices, WCC. We don’t have a wall of decorator quotes yet, so we’re not going to fake one. Start the 14-day trial, push the buttons, and decide for yourself.”

“I was retyping the same property address into every job, quote and invoice. Then I wrote an AI to do the typing for me.”

Quick Lead started as a selfish feature. I was sick of opening fifteen forwarded job emails on a Sunday night, copying the customer’s name into one place, the address into another, and the “can you start Tuesday” into a third. So I wired up Claude AI to do the typing — you forward the email, it files. That’s the AI inbox.

I’m a registered engineer with NICEIC and Gas Safe behind me. I use the app on real jobs every week. Every feature on this page is in the live app, not a roadmap promise.

If you’re a painter who scrolls back through WhatsApp to find “what colour did they ask for” on the day, the AI inbox files the brief and the photo evidence per room ends the “was that two coats or three” arguments. Multiply that over a year of voids.

Painter & decorator FAQs

The questions we get from decorators before they sign up.

No. Quick Lead does not ship a paint colour catalogue, RAL codes, or any direct integration with Dulux, Crown, Farrow & Ball or other paint manufacturers. You type the colour spec into the job notes — 'F&B Down Pipe, 2 coats' — and that is what shows on the invoice and the WCC. Keeps the app simple and lets you charge what you actually charge.
Take photos on the phone — before you start the room, during the prep, after the final coat. Each photo uploads to Firebase Storage attached to the job. Open the job and you see the gallery. There is no automatic 'this is room 1, this is room 2' tagging — you organise the photos in the order you took them, which usually matches the room order. The gallery doubles as your portfolio for the next quote.
Yes. Add a line per room, per surface or per coat — 'Lounge ceiling, 2 coats', 'Lounge walls, 2 coats', 'Hallway, prep and 3 coats', whatever the quote says. VAT optional per invoice. The invoice number is issued atomically per user by a Durable Object, so no duplicates. PDF download or send by email or WhatsApp.
No, there is no built-in hourly time-tracker. The Calendar view shows jobs by day, and you can write a finish time into the job notes — but Quick Lead does not run a clock-in / clock-out timer. If you bill by the day or by the room (which most painters do) the line-item invoice handles it cleanly. If you strictly bill by the hour you'd track that separately.
Yes. Forward any letting-agent void-redecoration email to your dedicated [email protected] address. Claude AI extracts the property address, tenant or access contact, urgency and any dates mentioned, and lands them in your pending bookings queue. The free-form colour spec and brief stay on the job for you to read. Threaded Postmark replies keep your follow-up in the same email thread.
The Work Completion Certificate is a generic A4 landscape document with an editable title — call it 'Full Redecoration Sign-off', 'Void Redec Handover', 'Single Room Completion', whatever fits. It includes the property and customer details, the work description, photo evidence and an on-screen signature. PDF is ready to send the moment you sign.
From £5/mo with a 14-day free trial, no card. During the current beta every signed-in user gets every feature — AI inbox, public booking link, photo evidence, WCC, invoices, Clients and Properties module, offline PWA. The full breakdown lives on the pricing page.
