Carpet fitter software —
measure, quote,
fit, invoice. All on your phone.
Snap the awkward stairs, line-item the lounge / dining / hall / landing, customer signs the WCC on screen, invoice goes by Postmark before you load the van. One job, one PDF trail.
Itemised quotes and invoices per room. Photo evidence of every measure-up and finished fit. Atomic per-engineer invoice numbers, on-site WCC sign-off.
From the measure-up phone call to the invoice in the customer’s inbox.
Measure the lounge. Quote the rooms. Fit. Customer signs. Invoice.
The flooring-fitter cycle has four steps and Quick Lead keeps them on one job — no spreadsheet, no scribbled measure-up notes lost in the van.
Measure-up visit
On the measure-up, snap each room (lounge, dining, stairs, landing), photograph awkward bits (gas-board hot pocket, staircase newel, fitted wardrobes). Photos upload to Firebase Storage against the job. Add a measure-up note per room.
Itemised quote, PDF to customer
In the job, build a line-item quote per room — Lounge carpet, Lounge underlay, Lounge grippers, Lounge labour, Stairs carpet, Stairs grippers and door bars, Stairs labour. VAT optional. PDF download or send by email through Postmark.
Fit, photo, sign, invoice
Fitting day: snap the finished rooms (proof of square edges, neat door bars, joins in the right place). Customer signs the Work Completion Certificate on screen. Open the quote, convert to invoice, PDF goes by Postmark. Per-engineer atomic invoice number.
Photos, line items, sign-off — the bits flooring jobs actually need.
Carpet fitter software UK for solo fitters and small teams — not a flooring-spec database, not an enterprise dispatch desk.
Itemised line items per room
One line per item per room. Lounge – carpet 4.5m x 3.8m, Lounge – underlay 8mm, Lounge – grippers and door bar, Lounge – labour. Repeat per room. VAT optional, totals at the bottom.
Photo upload
Snap the measure-up, the awkward bits, the existing floor, the new carpet down, the door-bar finish. Photos attach to the job and live on the Work Completion Certificate. Useful evidence if there’s a snagging call three weeks later.
WCC on-screen sign-off
A4 landscape WCC — editable title (e.g. “Carpet fit — lounge, dining, stairs and landing”), customer signs on your phone, photo evidence embedded, PDF emailed. Closes the job out cleanly.
Atomic invoice numbering
Each invoice number is issued by a per-engineer Durable Object. No duplicates, no clashes — HMRC-clean sequence, no manual register to maintain.
Public booking link
One URL for new measure-up enquiries — drop it on your Google Business profile, your van, your website. Customers fill a short form — lands in your pending queue, SMS pings your phone.
SMS booking alert
The moment a public-booking enquiry lands, the platform SMS gateway pings your phone via VoodooSMS. No engineer setup — the platform fallback covers it.
AI inbox
Forward customer enquiries to [email protected]. Claude Sonnet 4.6 lifts out customer name, address, phone, urgency and dates. Saves you trawling through email threads to find a postcode.
Threaded replies
Reply from inside the job — goes out through Postmark from your handle, threaded against the customer’s original. No copy-pasting, no lost context.
Clients & Properties
Jobs group by customer and by property. When the same customer rings about another room next year, every past visit, photo and invoice is one tap away.
Quick AI replies
Tap “can measure Tuesday am”, “need product choice” or “awaiting carpet delivery” — Claude Haiku drafts a short polite reply in your tone. One tap to send.
Calendar view
Jobs by day. See your morning measure-ups and your afternoon fits side by side. Tap to open, photo, invoice, mark complete.
Offline PWA
Installs to your home screen. Service worker keeps your jobs available when site signal is patchy. Photos sync when you’re back on data — the invoice still saves.

Honest beta — no fake reviews here
Quick Lead is in active beta, built and used daily by the founder on real jobs. We’d rather show you the app than invent quotes.
“We’re a small UK build. Every feature on this page is shipped today — photo upload, itemised line items per room, the WCC, atomic invoice numbering, the AI inbox. There’s no built-in carpet-spec or underlay-price database (yet). We don’t have a wall of customer logos either — so we’re not faking one. Start the 14-day trial, push the buttons, decide for yourself.”
10+ years on the tools
“Itemised quotes win the job. A vague ‘£1,200 all-in’ loses it to the next bloke who broke the rooms down for them.”
I’m a registered engineer, not a carpet fitter — but the line-item quote problem is identical across every trade that does measure-and-fit work. Customers want to see what they’re paying for. Itemised quotes win the job; lump-sum “all-in” quotes get binned. Quick Lead builds the line items, the photo evidence and the invoice on one job card.
I’m a registered engineer with NICEIC and Gas Safe behind me. Quick Lead has to be right because I use it every day. Every feature on this page is in the live app today.
For carpet fitters the itemised quote + photo evidence + on-screen WCC is the time-saver. The measure-up phone call to the customer’s inbox PDF is one workflow, one job, one app.
